Welcome to NSC 2023 in Melbourne

• • Morning program of more than 100 workshops, masterclass and practice evaluation sessions

Melbourne – the cosmopolitan city of coffee, laneways, street art and city lights – welcomes you. Our program is structured to allow you to explore the city and renew connections with colleagues, family or friends in the mornings, and then engage with our stunning scientific program from the afternoon into the early evening.

We have scheduled a vast array of workshops and masterclasses which will be held all day Wednesday and every morning from Thursday to Saturday, allowing you to attend workshops without missing the Congress lecture program. Scientific sessions, workshops and masterclasses have been created for both in person and virtual delegates.

Wednesday workshops will be offsite. This includes Emergency Response, EPIC (Effective periprocedural communication for children), virtual Practice Evaluation, obstetric and paediatric sessions. The remaining workshops and masterclasses are all in the mornings.

Places will be limited, so register early for the best selection of Practice Evaluation, Emergency Responses, Simulation and in-depth workshops.

What does my in-person registration include?

• • Access to all afternoon and evening in-person program sessions, including onsite food and drinks (delegates are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles and coffee cups)
  • Access to book any workshop (restricted by category during the early bird period, after which access is unlimited to available sessions) for both in-person and virtual sessions
  • Access to the trade exhibition held at the MCEC
  • Access to the launch party with a complimentary ticket included in your registration and guest tickets available to purchase
  • Access to purchase Gala Dinner tickets for you and any guests
  • Access to purchase tickets for organised social tours for you and any guests
  • Access to hosted onsite lunch and breakfast sessions
  • Access to all scientific session recordings, available on demand for 3 months post-event
  • Access to choose of live virtual workshops, masterclass and practice evaluation sessions (denoted by the virtual icon on the program) whilst places remain
  • Full access to the online virtual platform and ability to virtually participate in question and answer for live-streamed sessions

What does my virtual registration include?

• • Unlimited access to full live-streamed scientific sessions each afternoon and evening via virtual platform (denoted by the live-stream icon on the program)
  • Access to all scientific session recordings, available on demand for 3 months post-event
  • Access to choice of live virtual workshops, masterclass and practice evaluation sessions (denoted by the virtual icon on the program) whilst places remain
  • Full access to the online virtual platform and ability to virtually participate in question and answer for live streamed sessions
  • Access to view eposters

Please note: access to sessions at MCEC, onsite catering, the HCI exhibition, in-person workshops and masterclass program, social functions, in person organised tours, lunchtime and breakfast sessions are not included with virtual registration
