Welcome trainee!
On this page, you will find a summary of the various workshops, sessions and social events that are available to you as a trainee attendee. In addition to the full scientific program of course.
We are pleased to provide exam specific workshops to those who will be sitting in the near future for both the Primary and Final exams, which is included in your registration.
The trainee luncheon on Saturday is not to be missed! This will be an incredible opportunity to connect with trainees from Australia and New Zealand as well as invited speakers and senior figures in anaesthesia.
The prize session will be a fantastic way to support your colleagues who are presenting their research at this congress. Be sure to come along!
Trainee Schedule
Trainees are welcome at all of the full scientific program / workshop / masterclass program running from 4 – 8 October 2023. In addition to this, we have highlighted the key social functions and Trainee-specific workshops to enjoy and mark in the diary.
- Wednesday 4 October – Welcome Launch Party
- Thursday 5 October 8.30-10am – Part 2 exam workshop
- Thursday 5 October 3.30-5pm – TMG Prize session
- Friday 6 October 8.30-10am – Part 1 exam workshop- March 2024 sitting
- Friday 6 October 10.30-12 – Part 1 exam workshop – Aug 24 sitting and beyond
- Friday 6 October – Gala Dinner at Ram Remo Ballroom
- Saturday 7 October 12-1.30pm – Trainee NSC Luncheon
