Thank you for attending the ASA NSC 2023 from 4-8 October 2023

To access the platform post-congress, follow these simple steps:

    1. Visit the event platform website by entering the URL provided during the ASA NSC 2023. URL: www.asoa.arinex.one/users/sign_in
    2. Log in with your registered email, which you used during the event.
    3. Once logged in, you’ll have post-congress recorded sessions

If you have not registered to NSC23 and would like to purchase access, please see below for our on-demand pricing. On-demand registration remains accessible until November 30, 2023. Associate Member:

ASA Associate members are medical practitioners registered to practice in Australia who are registrars-in-training or have a special interest in anaesthesia (e.g. GP Anaesthetists).

Reciprocal rates:
Available for members of the NZSA, AAGB, ASA (US), CAS, MSA, SSA, SAHK, ISA, KSA, ESA and Indoanesthesia.

ASA members are entitled to claim one complimentary National Scientific Congress (NSC) or Combined Scientific Congress (CSC) registration during their Advanced/Provisional Fellow Training or in their first two years as an Ordinary Member, provided they have been a financial APFT member for two years. This is claimable once and excludes travel, accommodation, sundry expenses, supplementary activities and workshops.

The full, trainee and associate registrations entitle these delegates to the following:

    • Access to all in-person program sessions each afternoon, including onsite catering
    • Access to book any workshop (restricted by category during the early bird period, after which access is unlimited to available sessions) for both in-person and virtual sessions
    • Access to the trade exhibition held at the MCEC
    • Access to the Launch Party with a complimentary ticket included in your registration and guest tickets available to purchase
    • Access to purchase Gala Dinner tickets for you and any guests
    • Access to purchase tickets for organised social tours for you and any guests
    • Access to hosted onsite lunch and breakfast sessions
    • Access to three live-stream program sessions each afternoon (denoted by the live-stream icon on the program)
    • Access to the online virtual platform and the ability to participate in Q&A for live-stream sessions
    • Access to all live stream session recordings, available for up to 3 months post-event

    The weekend registration fee entitles these delegates to the following:

    • Access to all in-person program sessions on Saturday and Sunday, including onsite catering
    • Access to book any workshop (restricted by category during the early bird period, after which access is unlimited to available sessions) for both in-person and virtual sessions on Saturday or Sunday
    • Access to the trade exhibition held at the MCEC on Saturday and Sunday
    • Access to the Launch Party with a complimentary ticket included in your registration and guest tickets available to purchase
    • Access to purchase Gala Dinner tickets for you and any guests
    • Access to purchase tickets for organised social tours for you and any guests
    • Access to hosted onsite lunch and breakfast sessions on Saturday or Sunday

      The virtual fee entitles all virtual delegates to the following:

      • Access to three live-stream program sessions each afternoon (denoted by the live stream icon on the program)
      • Unlimited access to virtual workshops, Finger on the Pulse sessions,  Masterclasses or workshops (denoted by the virtual icon on the program)
      • Access to the online virtual platform and the ability to participate in Q&A for live stream sessions
      • Access to all live stream session recordings, available for up to 3 months post-event

      What is not included with a virtual registration?

      • Access to sessions at MCEC, including onsite catering
      • Access to the trade exhibition
      • Access to in person workshops
      • Access to social functions and organised tours
      • Access to hosted lunchtime and breakfast sessions

       

      Registration confirmation
      Your completed registration and successful payment will be automatically acknowledged via email with confirmation attaching a tax invoice and receipt. If your email does not come through to your inbox, please check your junk mail settings. Your registration will only be confirmed upon full payment of fees.

      Name badge
      Each delegate will receive a name badge when they check in onsite. The badge will be your official pass to obtain entry to all sessions and social functions. Your badge must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions. The Congress Managers expect appropriate behaviour from delegates and reserve the right to revoke the name badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner

      Credit/Debit Card
      The preferred payment method is credit/debit card. Accepted credit/debit cards are Visa and MasterCard. AMEX is not accepted.  Please note all transactions will appear on your statement as ‘Australian Society of Anaesthetists’.

      Alternative payment method
      For alternative payment methods, please choose option one while processing your registration or alternatively please call the Congress Managers on +61 3 8888 9500 or email at asansc@arinex.com.au.

      Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Congress Managers by emailing register.asansc@arinex.com.au.
      Note: there will be a A$150.00 administration fee charged for refunds on duplicate registration payments and/or name changes.

      Registration Fees: Before 19 July 2023 will incur a A$150.00 cancellation fee. Before 24 August 2023 will receive a 50% refund of fees paid. After 25 August 2023 there will be no refund.

      Accommodation:  A minimum one night’s deposit must be paid or credit card details given at time of booking to guarantee reservation One nights deposit is non-refundable at 3 September 2023.

      Social: Payments are non-refundable at 3 September 2023.

      This information is correct at the time of publishing. The Congress Managers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the meeting timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice. Neither the host organisation(s) nor the Congress  Managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.

      In the event that the NSC2023 congress cannot run in person, your registration will automatically be transferred to a virtual registration.

      Recordings/Copyright
      The Congress Managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the meeting for promotional, advertising or reporting of the meeting and/or its content at their sole discretion.

      Australia operates under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), as amended, and the Privacy Amendment (Notifiable Data Breaches), 2017.  The objective of these is to protect the right of the individual to privacy of their information.

      Europe operates under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union. The GDPR aims primarily to give protection to citizens over their personal data.  The legislation was adopted on 27 April 2016.

      The Congress Managers comply with these legislations and are committed to protect the right of the individual to privacy of their information.

      Arinex will not sell your personal information to third parties.  If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email us and we will promptly correct the information. You may also withdraw your consent for use of your information by advice to us in writing.

       Why do we wish you to provide your information?

      We require your information to facilitate provision of information to you regarding the Congress and to facilitate your participation in the Congress. Information collected in respect of your proposed participation in any aspect of the Congress will be used for the purposes listed below. You can give or withhold your consent for each or all of these uses. Please indicate your preferences when completing your registration form but please note that we will be unable to forward any information relating to the Congress or to communicate with you regarding your registration if you select ‘no’ to point 1.

      What we will do with your information?

      1. Planning and conduct of the Congress including arrangements for your participation (e.g. accommodation booking);
      2. In the Delegate List published for the Congress; which will include your name and state
      3. May also be provided to organisers of future occurrences of this Congress;
      4. May be used to provide you with information of other relevant events in your area of interest.

      Important Notes:
      The parties who will have access to your information (subject to your preference selections on above points) are the Congress Managers, the Congress host organisation (points 1 and point 4), delegates, sponsors and exhibitors of the Congress (point 2) and any future organisers of the Congress (point 3).

      The parties mentioned above will rely on your above consent indications for the purposes of compliance.

      • You may withdraw your granular consent at any time by notice in writing to the Congress Managers.
      • You are entitled to access the information held by written application to the Congress Managers.

      The ASA respects the rights of all delegates to have varying views on many issues. We wish to encourage respectful and reasonable discussion at our meetings. Speakers have the right to deliver their messages without unwanted interjection. Where possible we will try to provide opportunity for respectful dialogue within the program when time allows.

      The Organiser and Hosts/s of ASA NSC 2023 (the “Event”) reserve the right to remove from the venue/Event at any time any attendee to be causing, or potentially causing, a disturbance or exhibiting disruptive or inappropriate behaviour. Such removal does not constitute a right to refund of any fees paid. Please view the Code of Conduct here which all attendees are expected to comply with. 

      Workshop cancellations are fully refundable on the basis that the spot can be re-booked by another delegate.
